MOBOPINIONS asked 2,135 Americans (a 3% margin of error), “Do you look up someone on social media before you meet them?”

The results highlighted that if you are under 45 you should be careful what you post on social media, as 69% of people who are going to meet you face to face, for the first time, will check you out on your social posts.

The poll which was run in the UK and USA highlighted that social media is starting to win the age battle in America where 50% of people over the age of 45 said they would check social media compared to only 33% in the UK.
