September 28, 2014

In a recent Q-XT survey of 2,240 people, we found some interesting trends when it comes to cars.

63% own their own cars while only 10% lease. A third of those polled (27%) said they don’t own or lease a vehicle.

51% prefer cars made in the USA while 22% prefer imports and 27% did not express a prefrence either way.

49% of those polled have no plans to buy or lease a new car right now. 44% are driving around in cars older than 6 years.

When asked what influences them most when deciding to purchase a new car, 35% mentioned better gas mileage, 25% said it was time to get a new car, and 9% each reported new safety features and new technologies.

The most important thing to remember when discussing car ownership and preferences is to drive safely!
