Can Facebook’s Stories win over Snapchat under 18’s?

Facebook are desperate to be liked, and this month in an attempt to capture Snapchat users added stories to their main platform after adding similar add-ons earlier to Instagram and then more recently Whatsapp. Each month MOBOPIONIONS will look at whether they are seeing any success.

March data of the most popular apps on mobile devices for under 18’s highlighted the need to fully analyze the data.

Facebook overall was down 1% and Snapchat with all the new publicity was up 3.8%. But when we add gender we discover Female Snapchat, possibly early adopters, moving to Facebook and Male users becoming aware of Snapchat and moving there.
