Americans have a lot of leisure time but how do they most enjoy spending it?

Spending time with family and just staying at home / vegging out are the most popular activities with 33% and 23% respectively.

15% of Americans enjoy spending time with friends and socializing, while 11% prefer the movies, 6% said sporting event, 5% enjoy a play or concert, and only 2% would choose a party.

Politically speaking, conservatives and liberals prefer to do different things with their leisure time. Conservatives favor spending time with family a little more than liberals, (35% vs. 30%), and they are considerably more interested than liberals in staying home, (25% vs. 16%). Liberals are slightly more interested in going to the movies (15% vs. 10%.)
