When asked about their attitudes towards various issues in the NFL, our 1,435 respondents felt very strongly that sportsmanship was more important than winning. A full 63% versus 30% indicated that sportsmanship trumps winning.
64% described football as dangerous and 67% say they watch NFL games sometimes or a lot. Only 18% of those plled had attended a game in the last year though.
When it comes to choosing a favorite team most people seem to cheer for a team from another city. 55% have chosen a favorite team from another city while 24% are routing for their home team.
