We asked Americans to tell us their favorite food and we clearly found that this is a meat / chicken and seafood nation.

42% of the population prefers meat / chicken with 25% indicating a preference towards seafood.

Take out / fast food and health foods trailed with 13% and 11% respectively.

Dairy and vegetarian food were way behind with 4% each.

Interestingly, men prefer meat / chicken more than women, 47% vs. 37%.

The highest percentage of vegetarians is among single people with 9% and not surprisingly 21% of them also preferred take out / fast food.
